Having good long-tail keywords when creating a design for a product is the key to get traffic to your product. You want to take advantage of using keywords and ranking. If you rank on the front page with any product you will have a top seller in that niche. Niche keyword research is how you would do that for any niche that you go after. You want to find a niche that has low market saturation. Low competition and a lot of demand for the product you are creating.
If you have a Merch By Amazon account, Merch By Amazon niche research is the most important thing to learn if you want to grow your account to make a real income with print on demand.
You can do this the hard way by guessing or you could just let me show you how I do it. This is by far the easiest way of doing things especially if you have no experience with Amazon print on demand.
First things first you want to go on Amazon and actually search for your product, now what I do is really simple and it works every time so if any of this confuses you just visit my channel and watch the video showing exactly how I do everything. Then go to Merch Informer And type in the product that is selling well on Amazon or whatever niche you're trying to get into then press enter and it will bring up all of the information about that product, now we need to find a trend somewhere in this data or we won't find a profitable niche.
Now go to Google or Amazon itself and type in the name of your product, the second one down will be the main keyword that you want to rank for so now what I do is simply copy this into my merch informer as a meta tag for my product. So basically I want to create a shirt based off of this information. The keyword that I want to rank for is the word “niche” right here. So once you find your niche and you know exactly what you are going after then you will need a designer or do it yourself to put all of your information into a shirt, or sometimes even on other products, like phone cases. You can easily create a shirt using Merch By Amazon, Redbubble, Teespring, Spreadshirt, or any other print-on-demand site.
